With the beginning of summer and increased traffic in the Children’s Room we thought it would be a great time to implement some changes there. These changes are based on feedback from the Five-Year Survey that many of you filled out.

In the Children’s Room we have hung colorful banners across the ceiling for a playful atmosphere. We have also created a shelf with zippered bags of toys for children to play with when at the library. There are new colorful art and plants too.

We hope this will encourage families to stay and play once they have selected their books. Speaking of books, we have added many new titles for summer reading. So stop in, choose some books, relax and play. You can do it all at Cole Library.
