Mount Vernon held a mini-WaMaC individual speech contest Monday, Feb. 23, at Mount Vernon schools ahead of districts to give students a chance to make corrections ahead of district individual contests. Individual speech team is coached by Tawnua Tenley, Grant Freeman, Mary Horst, Amy White and Trevor Baty. The students had 37 Division 1 ratings and 14 Division 2 ratings.
