Spring is just around the corner, and so is MVCSD’s spring break. Fill your spring break schedule with library programs for the whole family! Below is a list of all the events and programs hosted by Cole Public Library:
• Monday, March 16 Mount Vernon Artist-in-Residence Angie Houton will lead a kid’s printmaking workshop. Geared towards upper-elementary through high school students, this workshop gives attendees the chance to experiment with a range of printmaking styles. • Tuesday, March 17 we’re hosting a Lego Lunch Party at noon. Come celebrate with pizza and Legos from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Room 108. RSVP to [email protected] to reserve your spot.
• On Wednesday, March 18 bring the whole family to our Nature Craft Night. From 6-7:30 p.m. in Room 108, we’ll provide a variety of crafts that use natural and recycled materials. Crafts include dried flower suncatchers, egg carton wreaths and garlands, and collaged photos. Bring a physical photo of your child or family to participate in the collaged photo activity.
• Finally, on Thursday, March 19, we’ll host a spring-themed Story Time at 9:30 a.m. in the Browsing Room. Come listen to springtime books, songs, and make a spring craft.
