Linn County Planning & Development has received reports of fraudulent emails claiming to represent Linn County Planning & Development, requesting immediate payment to approve zoning applications. Some of the emails use Linn County’s mailing address and logo.
Do not respond to these fraudulent messages, pay the attached invoices, or click any links. These emails are not legitimate and are not associated with Linn County Planning & Development.
Linn County Planning & Development does not email invoices to applicants. Payments for application fees can be made online via the BS&A link sent by Planning & Development staff or in person with cash, credit card, or check at 935 Second St. SW, Cedar Rapids.
If Linn County Planning & Development sends an email regarding an application or with the BS&A payment link, it will be sent from a county staff member with a LinnCountyIowa.gov email address.
