Lisbon senior Mykala Luzum-Selmon was named the Tri-Rivers East Player of the Year.
Luzum-Selmon led the Lions with 4.4 kills per set (ranked first in TRE and sixth in 2A), and she attacked at a .317 efficiency.
She also led the team with 3.8 digs per set and 70 ace serves.
“That was a nice cap to her career,” Lisbon Coach Lance Kamaus said. “And it was well deserved.”
Senior outside hitter Kamryn Kahl and sophomore libero Kyla Kahl were selected to the first team.
Kamryn was second on the team with 250 kills, hitting at a .220 efficiency. Kyla was second on the team in digs (373) and ace serves (69).
“Kamryn had another solid season at the net and became a better defensive player this year,” Kamaus said. “Kyla runs our defense.”
Sophomore Shea Benhart was a second-team pick. Senior Lauren Stolte earned honorable mention.
“Shea has literally done everything for us this year,” Kamaus said. “Lauren, as a senior, cracked the rotation and had a nice senior season.”
Kamaus was the Tri-Rivers East Coach of the Year. Lisbon finished 34-10 overall and 6-0 in the TRE, its ninth straight East crown.
