The Mount Vernon Trailblazers 4-H Club held its monthly meeting on Sunday, Oct. 12, at the Mount Vernon Fire Department. During the meeting, we split up into committees and introduced our new guests to the committees. After talking in groups, the community service committee discussed some new ideas we could participate in, like tying blankets for homeless shelters, and packaging food for the Southeast Linn Community Center. Our next meeting will be held at the LBC on Nov. 2.
