This opportunity is open to all students, staff, parents, and community members that would like to participate.
What is a Roundtable Meeting?
It is a gathering of stakeholders from the community, school board, student body, and school district employees. These stakeholders are able to learn more about the district through agendas that they’ve helped create. In addition, this group of individuals will be able to hear district needs and help make recommendations and provide feedback that can be utilized for ongoing and upcoming district decisions. It’s also a great opportunity to just learn more about how a school district operates and functions. The goal is to engage more stakeholders and increase participation from our community even more than we already are. The meetings are hosted and led by the Superintendent and others will join to present when topics arise that are their expertise.
We welcome you to submit the application below if you’re interested in being a part of the District Roundtable meetings.
Time commitment and meeting schedule:
Tentatively, meetings will be held from 6-7 p.m. at a location to be determined by participation numbers. The first planned meeting will be held Wednesday, Oct. 29. We can then determine the best night of the week for the group to schedule the remaining meetings for the year once we meet together for our first meeting. We will host at least four meetings during the 2025-2026 school year.
Application deadline is Friday, Oct. 17. Participants will be notified by Monday, Oct. 20, via email of their application acceptance.
