Thank you to all the candidates running for elected office in Mount Vernon and Lisbon. Your willingness to offer your time and talents for public service is applauded.

We urge all voters to become informed before they go to the polls Nov. 4. To help voters put faces to names and learn what each stands for, we urge you to attend our Candidates’ Forum of School Board Candidates Oct. 15, 7 p.m. in the Mount Vernon High School Performing Arts Center.

We will also host a candidate forum for the Mount Vernon city offices on October 22, 2025 at the Mount Vernon City Council chambers.

Early voting will be available from Oct. 15-Nov. 3 at the Jean Oxley Public Service Center and at Lindale Mall. Check with the Auditor’s office for times.
