Lisbon Schools will be hosting a blood drive Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 2:30-6:30 p.m. at the Lisbon High School Cafeteria.

Eastern Iowa Rural Revival and Candidate Forum

Voices United of Rural Linn County and members of 82nd Indivisible, Voices 4 Democracy, Indivisible Muscatine County, Johnson County Indivisible, SD 33 Indivisible, are sponsoring a rural revival and candidate forum. The event is Sunday, Sept. 28, at Cedar County Fairgrounds in Tipton from 2-4 p.m. Doors open at 1 p.m., with the program beginning at 2 p.m. Farmer and former FSA director Matt Russell will kick the event off. Candidates will answer questions until time runs out at 4 p.m. Event is free and open to the public, with childcare and refreshments provided.

Candidates invited include all those running for federal office (Senate and House of Representatives), those running for state office (governor, attorney general, secretary of agriculture).
