Mount Vernon-Lisbon Community Theatre (MVLCT) is proud to present their first Elliott Studio Series production of the 2025 season, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks by Richard Alfieri. Performances will take place August 15-16 & 22-23 at 7:30 p.m. and August 17 at 2 p.m. at the First Street Community Center Uptown Theatre.

Directed by David Morton and starring Marty Norton and Matthew James, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks is a heartwarming comedy about an unlikely friendship that blossoms between a feisty retired woman and her acerbic dance instructor.

Set in Florida, the story unfolds over six weekly dance lessons, blending humor, heart, and ballroom steps as the two confront past hurts, break down barriers, and learn that it’s never too late to change your life—or to dance.
