Anne Wagner, Lisbon Middle School and High School art teacher, helped lead activities at the workshop at Southeast Linn Community Center Wednesday, July 2.
Attendees had the opportunity to make their own puppets, using lunch bags, construction paper, fabric, and other elements.
Creative choices were made by students, as well as backgrounds for their puppets that they designed in the hour of workshop at SELCC.
“A tooth fell off of my puppet,” Lucas said.
Lizzy had a plan to make a Stitch puppet, but was unable to complete the coloring before the event ended.
“I really like Stitch, okay,” she said to others.
Avery was using a hot glue gun for some of the fabric details for her puppet, while Evelyn worked on a version of her cat, including a pair of sunglasses by the end.
