Recorders, solos, skits and music were on the program for the Lisbon Schools variety show Wednesday, May 14.
The program kicked off with the fourth grade choir performing “Do Re Mi” from the musical “The Sound of Music.”
Fourth graders than gave a concert on recorders, including “Hot Cross Buns,” Gently Sleep, “Merrily We Roll,” and “Eye of the Tiger.” Fourth grader Gabe Resor also performed a recorder solo to “Joyful Joyful.” Fifth graders presented “Try Everything” by Shakira, “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons and “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John. Sixth graders had an opportunity to present variety acts as part of their part of the show, with “If I were a Fish,” “The Duck Song,” “Record Player” and “Weller- man” being some of the musical highlights. The sixth grade choir performed “Riptide” by Vance Joy and “Life is a Highway” by Rascall Flatts.
