Todd Burness brought his 1931 Ford Model A to the car show at the festival. The vintage car was passed down by his father. The father found the frame of this car in a junkyard and bet a friend $1 that he could rebuild it. After it was built, Todd received it as a wedding gift and has since kept an upkeep of the car and continues to restore it.
Burness has put 25,000 miles on the car since the 1970’s but hasn’t been able to drive much as of late because the car needs a new engine. He plans on fixing the car and passing it down to his son who shares the same passion for cars as Todd.
The Burness family brings the car to many cars shows in the area, but not just to show it off. Todd Burness said, “We just like talking to be about their cars and learning about them.”
