Two new staff members have joined Ability Physical Therapy.
Adam Clendenen (physical therapist, doctor of physical therapy) earned his bachelor of science degree from Saint Ambrose University in May 2019, while majoring in exercise. He then returned to his hometown Dubuque to earn his doctorate in physical therapy from Clarke University, where he graduated in May 2023. Outside of work, Clendenen enjoys lifting, hiking, fishing and watching the Hawkeyes.
Clendenen is currently working at the Mount Vernon location of Ability Physical Therapy.
McKenzie Barber (licensed massage therapist) graduated from Carlson College of Massage Therapy in August 2023. She really enjoyed her time in school and is looking forward to helping others through Swedish, deep tissue and neuromuscular therapies. Barber lives nearby with her husband, Derek, and two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys time boating on the Wapsi and golfing with her husband.
Ability Physical Therapy recognized as Top 10Ability Physical Therapy was recognized as a Top 10 physical therapy location by Healthcare Business Review.
“It is kind of cool to be a part of that and recognized by other professionals,” said Michael Reiling with Ability Physical Therapy.
Reiling said that recognizing the work of the business in promoting physical therapy and wellness was a huge deal.
