Red Lion Renewables was getting the final solar array up and running at Lisbon City Hall this past week. The free-standing canopy was specifically designed for Lisbon to be an attractive accent to the building. It is the first such erected by Red Lion in Iowa.

Be Originals have strong showing at Great Jones County Fair

Local competitors from Lisbon and the Be Originals 4-H Club of Lisbon had strong showings at the Great Jones County Fair, which was held in July in Monticello. With 24 exhibitors showing and a total of 68 exhibits, the club will have six going on to the Iowa State Fair.
