Pictured below, fourth-graders Isabella Hasley and Abbie Babcock (from left) exclaim over a Dragons Love Tacos-themed cake created by elementary librarian Megan Casey. Judges selected five winners from among students’ entries, and winners earned their own birthday book selection through the program. Winners included: Madie and Lexi Boren, with “The Day the Crayons Quit;” Quin and Marin Denes, with “The Giving Tree;” Spencer Moellering, with “Peanut Butter and Cupcake;” Abi and Emily Schnoor, with “Click, Clack, Moo, Cows That Type;” and Channing Kuker, with “If You Give a Pig a Pancake.”
