Shawn never met a stranger. He was known for his quick wit, generous heart, and ability to make anyone laugh. He loved family vacations, riding his side-by-side, collecting coins, cheering on the Chicago Bears, supporting Lisbon Wrestling and Kennedy Football, playing pool with his brothers, and proudly claiming the title of “Champion” Euchre player. Shawn believed in treating everyone with kindness, respect, and fairness, and he was always willing to stand up for others.
Shawn will be remembered for his unwavering love of family, infectious sense of humor, and extraordinary courage. Though his life ended far too soon, the legacy he leaves behind will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Shawn’s life will be held at a later date.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our hero.
