The Mount Vernon Fire Department’s annual pancake breakfast served more than 800 people Saturday, April 4, with packed tables at 9 a.m. in the morning, just before the Easter Egg dash.
Mount Vernon’s Easter Egg dash had more than 300 youth participate in the hunt in the three age groups.
Lisbon’s Easter Egg hunt saw more than 20 youth, with the youngest age division having the largest turnouts. There were large prizes for the first, second and third prize quickest to find their eggs in each age division at Lisbon, as well as one golden egg in each age division.
The Easter Bunny was busy as well, hopping between Mount Vernon and Lisbon’s hunts.
