This is Shirley Heiserman and I’m writing this letter to the editor.

I had previously written a letter regarding the Fourth of July which was printed in the Sun. The very next week another letter was printed under my name Shirley Heiserman discussing the Big Beautiful Bill of which seems to be blatant advertisement for the Democratic party’s agenda. I’m requesting a full retraction of the July 3, 2025 article concerning the ”Big Beautiful Bill discussed at Voices United” under my name voicing that I am no way affiliated with this organization or wish to be.

Editor’s note – As was noted in the correction July 17, that letter was misattributed in the July 3 newspaper to the wrong letter writer, and the Sun apologizes for that error and to Shirley for that mistake and retracts that attribution
