Some mystery writers have written successful series. If you enjoy their books it can be hard to wait for the next installment. This fall several mystery writers have new books out and we have purchased them for Cole Public Library.
If you enjoy these writers the wait is over. New titles are:
• What Time the Sexton’s Spade Doth Rust, Alan Bradley
– This is the 11th in the Flavia de Luce novels
• A Murder Most French: An American Murder in Paris, Colleen Cambridge – This is the sequel to Mastering the Art of French Murder
• Bad Liar, Tami Hoag – This is the third in the Broussard and Fourcade series
• Shadow of Doubt, Brad Thor – This is number 33 in the Scot Harvath spy thrillers
• A Refiner’s Fire, Donna Leon – Commissario Guido Brunetti mystery number 33
• This is Why We Lied, Karin Slaughter – This is book 12 featuring Will Trent and Sara Linton
• We Solve Murders, Richard Osman – a new series by the author of the Thursday Murder Club books
If I haven’t listed your favorite mystery writer, don’t worry there will be more to come. Louise Penny’s next title will be released Oct. 29 and expect C. J. Box’s next book at the end of February 2025.
