All five regular starters for the Mount Vernon Mustangs earned some kind of All-WaMaC honor this past week.
Chloe Meester, Sydney Huber and Courtney Franck were all picked to the first team in the WaMaC East. Peyton Simpson was second team. Taylor Franck and sixth player Brynley Rasmussen were special mention.
“To the victor go the spoils,” said Mount Vernon coach Nate Sanderson, referencing the team’s East Division crown. “All those players have put a lot of time and work into getting us where we are. It is cool to see that recognized.”
