Kayden Pendergrass of Mount Vernon is a member of the Central College men’s golf team.
Central has won a record 32 conference championships and made 33 NCAA Division III Championships appearances. Last year the Dutch took first in the 10-team Ryerson Classic at Pella and placed third at the American Rivers Conference Championships. Central is coming off a successful fall season that included a second-place finish at the 17-team Central Fall invitational and a third-place effort at the Carthage (Wis.) Fall Invitational.
The Dutch open the spring campaign with a trip to Pinehurst, North Carolina, capped with an appearance at the Hampden-Sydney (Va.) Tiger Invitational March 10-11.
