The Healthiest State Initiative wants to recognize Iowa’s workplaces, schools, health care providers, youth, and individuals for their efforts to support the physical, social, and mental well-being of Iowans through the 2024 Healthiest State Annual Awards. Applications are now open through 5 p.m. Jan. 26. Apply now at www.IowaHealthiestState.com/Awards.
Finalists will be announced in March 2024. All finalists will be recognized, and winners will be revealed at either the Workplace Wellbeing Conference to be held April 17 or at the 5-2-1-0 Healthy Choices Count! Summit in October. Each winner will receive recognition and a monetary prize to contribute towards a health and wellness-related project that benefits their employees, students, or fellow citizens.
“The Annual Awards celebrate the efforts of individuals, organizations, and workplaces throughout the state who are creating environments and opportunities to support healthy living,” said Jami Haberl, executive director of the Iowa Healthiest State Initiative. “This commitment and dedication is pivotal to supporting our vision that every Iowan can live their healthiest life.”
The Healthiest State Annual Awards are supported by The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, HealthPartners UnityPoint Health, Malvern Bank, Holmes Murphy, and the Iowa Medical Society.
