On Wednesday Dec. 27, at 9:53 p.m., the Caseys General Store at 990 Robins Square in Robins was held up at gunpoint. The suspect appears to be a white male who is 6 feet to 6 foot 3 inches tall and 155 to 170 pounds. The subject was wearing tan or brown boots, gray pants and dark blue hoodie covering a camouflage ball cap. The subject was also wearing green gloves and black covid type face mask. He left the store in an unknown direction carrying a black bag (possibly a black garbage bag) containing items that were taken from the store.
Law enforcement personnel from the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Highway Patrol, Cedar Rapids Police Department and Hiawatha Police Departments assisted with this incident.
