Members of the Lisbon and Mount Vernon Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts scoured the communities of Lisbon and Mount Vernon Saturday morning, picking up donations for the Southeast Linn Community Center.
This year, there was not a colored bag that the Scouts were looking for when it came to Scouting for Food items, but people were to provide their own box or bag to be visible from the roadway.
SELCC director Nicole McAlexander noted that the donations received from the community included many of the donations they noted they needed, including ravioli and canned meats.
Donations overall seemed to be down compared to last year’s collections.
If your donations were not picked up by Scouts on Saturday or you have donations to be made, Southeast Linn Community Center will accept them during normal business hours.
