Have a recall notice you haven’t taken care of for your vehicle? Or a minor repair that you’ve been putting off that doesn’t require the use of a vehicle lift?
Lynch Ford-Chevrolet has started a mobile service technician program that can make taking care of those repairs easy and convenient.
“A majority of the repairs, for things like warranty recalls that can be conducted without lifting your car are something our mobile technicians can easily fix,” said Darin Vig, Lynch Ford-Chevrolet.
Mechanics will come from Lynch Ford Chevrolet to pick up your car from where it’s located and drive it to the dealership for the minor repair, and after the repair is completed, the vehicle will be dropped back off at your home.
Lisa Lansing of Lynch Ford-Chevrolet said that to take part in the service, it’s as simple as calling the dealership and setting up an appointment for the minor repairs.
“Our cashiers are available to take payment over the phone after the repair is completed,” Lansing said.
The service is open to all makes and models that Lynch Ford-Chevrolet services in the community.
Lynch Ford-Chevrolet has been offering this service for the past three months, and fine tuning this to provide customers with a great experience.
“There are several minor repairs that can be handled by the mobile service technicians that don’t require much more than just an appointment and a few minutes to complete,” Lansing said.
Electric charging stations being installedYou also might have seen the electric charging station bays being installed at the Lynch Ford-Chevrolet parking lot.
Those charging stations are expected to be fully installed by mid-November.
These stations and other improvements at Lynch Ford-Chevrolet will allow the dealer to be a Ford Certified Electric “Model E Dealer.”
“Ford Motor Company is saying by 2030, 50 percent of their production will be electric vehicles,” Lansing said. “As a dealership we want to be in a great position to sell and service electric vehicles as they become more available.”
Lynch announced the plans for chargers to be installed this past summer in early March, and the parts for the charging stations are now finally arriving to be installed.
