The Lisbon Marching Band is drawing to a close a fantastic marching band season.
Director Joseph Arch said the band placed first at the Bands across the Prairie in Class 2A, with accolades of outstanding winds, percussion and best drum majors.
“At the Iowa High School Marching Association competition, we were the only Division I rating in class 2A that day,” Arch said. “All in all, an exceptional season for the Lisbon Marching Band.”
Arch said the band will continue performing for any home football games, but they are now starting to transition into concert and jazz band seasons.
