In last week’s Cole Corner, Cathy shared our big news: she’s going part time and I’m stepping in as the director.
This fall marks my 11th year at Cole Library, and over that time I have held many jobs within the public and college library. I have loved serving the Mount Vernon community in all my past positions and am so excited to move into this administrative role.
I will bring a new vision to the directorship, while continuing to collaborate with Cathy to provide the same great programs, services, and resources you know and love.
Please poke your head into my new office (room 124 on 1st floor) and say “hi”. Connecting with people is my favorite part of librarianship, and I look forward to working with you all in this new role.
