Michael Briesemeister, a senior at Mount Vernon High School, has been awarded an $800 Jones County Farm Bureau Scholarship. Michael is the son of Eric and LeAnn Briesemeister, Mount Vernon, and plans to attend Iowa State University to major in Genetics.
