The Cornell women’s tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Truman State on Sunday.
The Rams dropped each of their doubles match to go down 3-0 to the Bulldogs. Makayla Johnson and Wies Kleingeld lost 8-3 at No. 1 doubles with Joslain Mckevver and Ashley Drake losing similarly at the No. 3 spot.
Ashley Mink and Audrey Small lost a hard-fought battle at No. 2 doubles 8-4 to Allie Brown and Abbi Worster.
Johnson lost at No.1 in straight sets to Brown. Kleingeld lost at No. 2 singles to Samantha Seggerman 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 after losing her tie breaker in the first set. Mink dropped her singles match to Kennidy Shirey 6-2, 6-2.
