It was windy. A tad bit cold.
But it was still Magical.
Magical Night returned to uptown Mount Vernon as an in-person event, with popular events returning, and some minor changes this year.
The festival spread from Mount Vernon’s First Street Community Center to Memorial Park, Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church and Mount Vernon United Methodist Church in uptown Mount Vernon.
With a wider swath of ground to cover, the crowds were smaller in some areas at times, but events like the cookie decorating and animangerie were moved to different locations this year.
