Glass recycling containers arriveGlass recycling containers have finally arrived in Mount Vernon. The containers are located at the Bryant Park public works site. Citizens can drop off their glass recycling at that location. The Mount Vernon City Council has been working on a solution to the glass recycling issue since the city switched to Republic Waste Management in July, with a contract finally being reached in mid-September for glass recycling to occur.
