A motorcyclist was injured on Sutliff Road and Bud Road in rural Lisbon Tuesday, June 14. Cameron Perry, 34, Marion, was transported to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics by Lisbon-Mount Vernon Ambulance service for serious injuries.
According to Sgt. Chad Watkinson of the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, first responders were paged to the scene at 6:33 p.m. Perry was northbound on Sutliff Road near Bud Road when he lost control of his motorcycle. He proceeded into the west ditch where he struck a sign and came to rest in the fence line.
Perry was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The accident remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
