Pay raises have been set for the employees of the City of Mount Vernon.
City administrator Chris Nosbisch noted most salaries reflect a roughly 5 percent increase, with the exception of Mount Vernon-Lisbon Police Chief Doug Shannon’s salary, which is higher and was negotiated when the Mount Vernon and Lisbon police departments merged. Shannon’s salary went to $101,890.09 from $92,627.35.
For public works employees, Eldon Downs salary increased to $84,383.92 compared to $80,365.64 last year. Alex Volkov went to $84,379.86 compared to $80,361.77.
Chris Nosbisch’s salary went to $117,290.67 from $111,705.40, Sue Ripke’s salary went to $85,501.92 from $81,430.40, Joe Jennison’s increased to $55,428.45 from $52,789, and Laura Eckles went to $54,600 from $52,000.
Matt Siders salary went to $76,777.43 from $73,121.36, Sarah Boots to $56,700 from $54,000 and Katey Forrest went to $43,050 from $41,000.
Nathan Goodlove’s salary went to $17,251.22 from $16,429.73, Derek Boren to $5,529.24 from $5,265.94 and Jacob Buster to $1,105.85 to $1,053.19.
