The City of Mount Vernon is now collecting water bill payments online.
The service uses Payport, and there is a small fee for using credit cards to pay your bills via this method. Account owners need to know the amount they are attempting to pay on their water bill, as well as their account number.
Payments allowed via the online platform include Mastercard, Visa and Discover. The secure payment site collects credit card information, and a receipt is sent to customers.
