After the interruption of the pandemic, Southeast Linn Community Center, in partnership with Horizons, will be resuming the congregate dining program. Congregate dining provides affordable, nutritious meals along with the opportunity to socialize with family and friends.
In anticipation of the re-opening, SELCC is soliciting ideas for a new name for the returning meal program. Possible names might highlight the history of the program, previous participants, or a local landmark or story. Suggestions will be accepted through June 3 and can be submitted via email to [email protected], online at www.selinn.org, or in-person at SELCC.
A grand re-opening will be held Friday, June 17 at 11:30 at 108 South Washington Street in Lisbon. Meals will be provided by Horizons and served family style every Friday, beginning June 17th. All are welcome. For guests 60+, meals are offered for a suggested contribution of $5. All other guests may purchase a meal for $6. RSVPs are required one day in advance. Guests are welcome to come early to enjoy free Bingo at 10 a.m. each Friday. Additional programming will be offered in future months.
