Mount Vernon boys’ and girls’ middle school soccer programs will begin a series of three home contests.
The boys’ and girls’ will face off against Marion today (Thursday, April 28) at the First Street Community Center field in uptown Mount Vernon. Girls’ game starts at 4:15 p.m., with the boys’ game to follow.
The next contest for the middle school soccer program is Monday, May 2, when the teams face off against Williamsburg. Contests again begin at 4:15 p.m. at First Street Community Center field, with the girls’ taking the field first.
The third and final home meet for the team is scheduled for Thursday, May 5, when the teams take on South Tama Schools. The contest begins at 4:15 p.m., with the girls’ taking the field first, followed by the boys’. This is the final game of this year’s season.
