Jay Albright, 79, of Lindstrom, Minn., died Jan. 31, 2022. He was the son of George and Grace Albright of Lisbon, born Nov. 16, 1942 and grew up in Lisbon. In Minnesota, he worked for a grain company, drove an 18-wheeler cross-country, and started Albright’s Custom Furniture and Cabinetry, providing custom wood products to interior designers in the Twin Cities area. He learned a lot about woodworking from his father. Jay custom built everything wood in his own home using his favorite wood, sappy cherry. He was also a Mason and enjoyed boating and NASCAR races.
He is survived by his wife Linda; two daughters from his first marriage, Sherrie Jackson and Annette Mustonen; four granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; one stepson and three step-grandsons. He was predeceased by his first wife, his sister Patsy Potter of Cedar Rapids and a step-son.
