The Lisbon Lions varsity girls basketball team dropped three games last week, two of the contests being played at home.
Monday, Jan. 17
Lisbon first hosted the Midland Eagles, who took an early lead and ran away with it, taking the contest 46-23.
Chloe Clausen led the way for the Lions in scoring with eight points, while Addy Happel offered up five.
Tuesday, Jan. 18
The Lions hosted the (10-4) Calamus-Wheatland Warriors the following evening, and were held to just 20 points in a 45-20 loss.
Chloe Clausen and Kali Nelson each scored five in the effort, while Addi Clark managed to pull in six rebounds.
Friday, Jan. 21Lisbon traveled to Bellevue Marquette Catholic Friday, and while they put up a good fight — including outscoring the home team 19-6 in the second quarter — they still fell to their hosts, 42-34.
Marquette out-rebounded the visiting Lions 39-21.
Kali Nelson put in 12 points in the effort. Peyton Robinson was responsible for nine of her team’s boards.
The loss dropped the Lions to 3-11 overall.
