The Rotary Club of Linn County is partnering with Cornell College and the Lisbon-Mount Vernon Ambulance Service to offer a free community CPR training class for area residents, students, and school staff at Cornell College Saturday, Jan. 29, at the Thomas Commons Hall-Perinne Room.
Enrollment is limited, so only early enrollees are guaranteed a spot. Go to the Rotary Club Website (rotarylc.org) and follow the links to CPR Training to enroll. This training is free to residents of Mount Vernon and Lisbon ages 16 and older as a service to the community.
CPR training will be 9 a.m. to noon, with an optional Stop the Bleed class offered 1 to 3 p.m. All training will be conducted by the trainers from the L-MV Ambulance Service.
The training is free, but if an attendee needs the AHA Certification for CPR, it will be available for a fee.
