The Mount Vernon boys’ varsity basketball team dropped two games last week, losing on the road to Beckman Catholic, and at home Saturday night to Hwy. 1 rivals the Solon Spartans.
“We played two of the best defensive opponents we did all season in Beckman and Solon,” said Mustangs assistant coach Derek Roberts.
“We struggled to score in both, but have a lot of positives for kids to take away and continue to improve on.”
