Fire departments from Mount Vernon and Lisbon along with Ely, Solon, Swisher and Cedar Rapids and Linn County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to multiple reports of a structure fire at 750 Old School Road in Linn County Friday night.
Upon emergency personnel’s arrival they discovered three livestock buildings had caught fire. The buildings are considered a total loss. No livestock or people were injured in the fire and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
