Lavonne "Pee Wee" Bova

LaVonne “Pee Wee” Bova, 96, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 11, at the Oldorf Hospice House. Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon. Visitation is three hours prior the service. Private family burial will follow after the service with a luncheon at Gwen’s Restaurant.

LaVonne was born March 27, 1928, in Minneapolis, Minn., daughter to Sylvester and Esther (Eldstrom) Vandeberg. She graduated from Lisbon High School in 1945 and married John “Chum” Bova on June 18, 1948, at the Lisbon Catholic Church.
