The Linn County Master Gardeners held an enrichment activity at Southeast Linn Community Center Wednesday, June 11.
At the activity, attendees were able to make cards or fabric art, by pounding flowers with hammers.
Beula Dvorak helped the attendees by having a wide selection of flowers to choose from, as well as tips on how best to get the color from some flowers onto the paper or fabric.
And then the hammering started as artists pounded their designs into the paper.
Izzie was looking to make a “Maleficent” inspired card for her mother with her design. Across from her, Lizzie found the best way to get the colors on her design was to pound as hard as possible.
