Mount Vernon boys’ golf carded a 165 in extremely windy conditions on Monday, April 28 at the Tama Toledo Country Club.

South Tama didn’t have enough golfers to post a score, but it still goes down as a Mustang win.

“I’m proud of the way the boys handled the wind,” Mount Vernon coach John Rhomberg said.

Tommy Rhomberg was medalist with a 39. Things start moving pretty fast two the WaMaC Super Meet on May 12 and the 3A sectional on May 14.
