The Mount Vernon Lions Club is looking for new members. Member Paul Fugate said that the organization has lost several members recently, and are looking for younger members to join.

They meet the fourth Wednesday of every month at Mount Vernon City Hall.

“It’s a great networking opportunity,” Fugate said. “It’s also a great tax deduction, as we’re a 501 (c) 3 organization, so any donations made are tax deductible.”
