Harold McDerry, 64, of Mount Vernon was injured in a Clayton County crash 11 a.m. Thursday, June 27. McDerry was transported to Gunderson Lacrosse Hospital by Gunderson Aircare.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, McDerry was eastbound on Hwy. 18 on his 1996 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The motorcycle left the roadway near Jasper Avenue and came to rest in the south ditch. The motorcycle was towed by Sautters.
ISP was assisted on scene by Clayton County Sheriff’s Department and the McGregor Fire Department, the Mar-Mac Ambulance, Mar-Mac police department, Guttenburg Police Department, Gunderson Ambulance.
