Cole Library loves Monarch butterflies.
For years we have raised Monarchs at our first floor circulation desk. This summer, we’re delving deeper into how we can help these beautiful insects. On Tuesday, June 25, at 1 p.m. in Room 108 of the library, join Monarch Research Station Manager Augie Bergstrom for Monarchs, Milkweed, and Making a Difference.
Geared to adults and teens, this presentation explores the critical relationship between Monarchs and milkweed and demonstrates how we can make a positive difference in the lives and habitats of these important pollinators.
Participants will also have the opportunity to make milkweed seed balls to take home with them. If you love monarchs, mark your calendars for this exciting new program.
