Barnyard Buddies 4-H club
Hello everyone, I am here to tell you about what the Barnyard Buddies recently discussed in their most recent meeting May 5. The first thing we talked about was planting a pot of flowers at the Linn County fair to put around the fairgrounds. The next thing we talked about was if we wanted to do an auction basket for the Linn County Fair. We voted on a $100 budget and that it would be movie themed. We then discussed donating $100 to the 4-Hers for 4-H. It’s an organization that helps 4-Hers afford stuff who may not be able to afford it, like the 4-H conference at Iowa State. We then talked about donating $300 to the Washington Elementary Library to help get new books for the kids. We also wanted to donate $300 to the First Street Building in Mount Vernon for letting the Barnyard Buddies use their place for our meetings. We then talked about doing an activity that the club thought was fun last year and that was going to some of the members houses and seeing their livestock they will bring to the fair. The last thing we talked about was decorating our booth at the fair. The theme this year is Spy Your Potential. That’s all we discussed. Thank you for reading about what the Barnyard Buddies did at our most recent meeting.
