Mount Vernon girls’ tennis finished fourth at the WaMaC Invitational on Tuesday, April 30, at South Tama.
“We played a lot of tennis that day!” Mount Vernon coach Crystal Eskelsen said. “Kelsey (Kamerling) had a nice win in the third-place match at No. 2 singles, avenging a regular season loss.”
Kamerling beat Ali Wood of Grinnell, 8-6.
(Editor’s note: Results were incomplete on Bound.)
In addition, a dual at Camanche on Thursday, May 2, was cancelled due to poor weather.
